PADI Speciality Courses
Why take a Speciality Course?
PADI Speciality Courses are good fun. And you will learn something new. Every single time.
There are many reasons why a certified diver will benefit from a Speciality Certification. First, because they are fun, hardly any classroom sessions for most and you get to spend some real quality time with your instructor. The number of dives required varies depending on the ¨Spec¨, anywhere between 2-4. Some theory will be covered of course but the focus is on the practical application of newly learned skills. And you get to pick your instructor’s brain as much as you like! At most dive destinations, live-a-boards or dive centres, you will find that some of their dive sites are restricted to divers with a certain experience, level of certification or specialities. And if you don’t want to miss out on those, having certain Specs is the way forward.
All our PADI Specialities include rental dive equipment, manual, registration, certification & insurance during the course. Please note that we don’t always have all speciality manuals in all available languages in stock. Should you wish to do a PADI Speciality Course, let us know in advance (2 weeks) so we can purchase the didactic material required and have it ready for you on your arrival.
Dive equipment rental includes Bcd (Stab jacket), Regulator, Wetsuit, Mask, Snorkel, Fins, and Boots. Any other rental supplementary equipment such as Computer, Torch, SMB etc. is subject to a surcharge. We strongly recommend, you buy, rather than rent these items, as they form a crucial part of any divers equipment.
