S´Algar Diving Menorca is a 5* PADI Dive Centre. We are also a TDI – Training Facility as much as a BSAC Resort.

We have not affiliated ourselves to FEDAS, FECDAS, CMAS, IDA, NAUI, SSI, FFESSM, ACUC, FIAS – just to name a few – because, really, well – it would be just too expensive.

You are a PADI Dive-Centre. I am a BSAC Diver. Do you accept my qualification?

Of course, we do! We are in awe of the real, English, BSAC Diver. The one who drives to a quarry or a beach on the weekend, no matter what the weather forecast says. The one who gets together with his dive buddies, to huddle on a RIB for hours on end. The one that pretends that the dry suit does not have a tiny leak somewhere. The one who will dive in conditions that others would class as non-diveable. The one, who will tell you that there is no such thing as too cold, too wet, too bumpy… The one who after 30 minutes of nothingness in zero visibility had a good dive. The one who will do the same dive over and over again, because once, some years back, when all the conditions were right, he had a good dive there. The one who will be enthusiastic for hours on end about a dive just because the water temp was over 15C. The one, who will call vis with 2+ meters good. And what´s more, that BSAC Instructor who will do all that and more, to create and nurture enthusiasm for scuba diving and its wonders to a student who has seen no more than Stony Cove. I could go on here, but I won’t. You get the picture.

Everybody welcome

So yes, we welcome all divers, from all over the world and different certifying agencies. Those that think diving in the Med is a piece of cake compared with where they are diving on any given day, and those who try to compare the Med with the Caribbean and think that the Med is rough and cold.

No matter where you are from or what you are used to: come and let us show you what we have to offer. Come with an open mind, and you will not be disappointed.
