Enjoy a couple of hours of personalized fun on the water. Our 7.5m RIB called ¨Boris¨ will take you for a ride around the beautiful south-east coast of Menorca, go for a spin around the Isla del Aire, a little island in front of Punta Prima and show you some great caves only accessible from the sea. There are a number of beautiful bays and coves that you can only appreciate from the sea. Where exactly we´ll end up going, depends on the weather and your preference. No boat excursion is the same as every group has its own dynamics. It’s fun for all the family!

Explore local bays and coves with an S’Algar Boat Excursion

The starting point is the dive centre in Salgar, where you can safely leave all your belongings that you might not want to take on the ride with you.

If you wish, you can take a mask and snorkel with you, as you will have the opportunity to stop for a swim or a snorkel anytime you wish. Our personalized boat tours are just that. Personalized. The boat and the captain are yours for 2 hours. What you do in that time, is up to you and your fellow passengers on the boat.

There is no minimum or maximum age. However, for children under 6, the parents might be the best judge of that. As for older passengers, on our RIB ¨Boris¨there is room for 2 people to sit on a ¨propper¨ seat, rather than on the tubes.

If you have young children or seniors with you, you have the option to do the boat excursion on our hard-boat ¨While you´re Down There¨, also known as ¨Zum Zum¨. The ride will be slower, but very comfortable. You´ll have room to stretch out your legs and move around the boat as you are cruising along the coast. Because this boat is being used primarily to transport our divers to the dive sites, its availability will often be in the afternoons only.

Excursion Time Table | Boat Excursion with S’Algar Diving

Our Boat Excursions run usually either 11:00 – 13.00 in the morning, and 14:00 – 16:00 hrs or 16:00 – 18:00 hrs in the afternoon. However, we are flexible, depending on the season and boat & captain availability. Boat excursions can run any time of the day, for a minimum of 4 passengers.

What you will need to bring

You don´t need to bring anything, but you might want to have your bathers or swimsuit ready, so you can jump into the water and cool off whenever you like.
Mask and snorkel if you have them. You never know when you might want to use them.

Other information you might want to know

We leave and come back to Salgar. The distance we will cover in 2 hours varies, depending on the speed you wish to go and how many stops for a dip, a swim or a snorkel you would like to incorporate into your excursion.
